The Rogue Audio Tempest 88 integrated amplifier has the features of the Rogue Audio 66LSR preamplifier and the power of the Rogue Audio model 88 amplifier in one chassis. The Tempest is not a euphonic, soupy sounding tube amp like you might have heard elsewhere. These hold musical truth high with speed and accuracy, while still delivering a sweet tube top end for ease of listening all day. Easily driving most speakers to realistic levels, the Rogue Audio Tempest stereo amplifier has 4 and 8 ohm taps for connection to a variety of loudspeaker types. Switchable from triode operation to ultra-linear, they are tunable for your speakers and room to a greater degree than most amplifiers. Four KT-88 power tubes in it's massive chassis deliver 30 watts per channel in triode or 60 watts per channel in ultra-linear power. A Magnum version is also available which features larger output transformers, double the capacitance, ultra-expensive foil coupling caps, silver internal wiring, heavy binding posts and premium tubes. All Rogue Audio amplifiers are available with your choice of silver or black faceplates in a timeless and elegant design. |
